William "Billy" Martin Caddell

William “Billy” Martin Caddell passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the age of 73. He was born to Charles Odie Caddell and Margie May Springs on March 18, 1950 in Seguin, Texas.

Billy will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved history, gardening, and fishing, He was an avid reader and had a passion for music. He played guitar and harmonica. Billy loved spending time with his family and friends, and he especially loved to sit on the porch and talk. He was always willing to give a helping hand to his family and anyone in need. Billy will be forever missed and never forgotten.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Odie Caddell and Margie Patton; stepfather, Loyd “Gerald” Patton; brothers, Charles Odie Caddell Jr., Donald Wayne Caddell, Mark Galen Patton, and James Earl Caddell.

Left to cherish and honor his memory is his loving wife of 48 years, Diane Caddell; daughters, Alicia Rene Lambert (Michael), Shauna Dawn Ganson (Michael), Stacy Shea Bujnoch (Vincent), Lauren “Ashton” Caddell; grandchildren, Keira Payton Bujnoch, Braden Matthew Bujnoch, Shyla Grace Bujnoch, Evan Reed Bujnoch, Brandt Maddox Bujnoch, Corynne Michaelah Lambert, Addison Claire Bujnoch, Rylan Parker Bujnoch, Scarlett Victoria Ganson, and Mina Marie Ganson. He is further survived by his brother, Brett Lea Patton; sisters-in-law, Janet Caddell and Rene Caddell, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Services will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Goetz Funeral Home in Seguin, Texas. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the Memorial Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Fentress Community Cemetery.
