Tammy Herschberger

Tammy Jean (Bertrand) Herschberger passed away unexpectedly on May 11, 2023 surrounded by her family.  She was born April 6, 1968 to Kathleen and Shelton Bertrand in Rhode Island.  Her father was in the Navy, so Tammy spent her childhood moving around to many places.  Tammy was a social butterfly, every person she met became a new friend. Tammy enjoyed traveling with her partner Rick of 17 years, seeing new places and people they loved. Tammy was a devoted Mother to her two children, Britney and Adam. She also loved growing and caring for her plants.  She had a great laugh and her smile could light up a room. Her time on this earth ended too early. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Tammy is preceded in death by her father Shelton Bertrand and her grandparents. Tammy is survived by her mother Kathleen Bertrand, soulmate Rick Rocco, daughter Britney Wait, son-in-law Adam Wait, son Adam Herschberger, sister Cameillia Wolfskill, niece Sarah (Alberto), nephew Noah (Heather), great nephew Aydan, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held at Goetz Funeral Home, 713 N Austin St. Seguin, TX on Saturday May 20, 2023.  Visitation will start at 1:00 p.m. with services starting promptly at 1:30 p.m. Reception will follow at Faith Lutheran Church, 1326 E Cedar St. Seguin, TX. We are asking for everyone to wear colorful and casual attire to honor Tammy’s vibrant personality.
