Rosa Luna

Rosa Moya Luna, age 106 of Seguin, Texas, passed away on November 14, 2019. She was a homemaker whom loved to garden, sew, embroider and crochet. She was very involved with Our lady of Guadalupe church and attended mass frequently. She will be remembered for her smile, her sarcasm and all the funny, happy and sad stories she would tell of her past. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Rosa was preceded in death by her husband, Ricardo Luna Sr.; her parents, Marcelo and Isabel Moya; her sons, Aniseto Luna Sr., Tranquilino Luna, Simon Luna Sr., Crecensio Luna, and Guadalupe Luna.

She is survived by her sons and daughters, Genoveva Herrera, Ascension Luna Sr., Lorenza Medrano, Ricardo Luna Jr., Isabel Gutierrez, Jose Luna, Felix Luna, Carmen Medrano, Amelia Bautizta, Guillermo Luna, and Juan Luna. She is also survived by her brother, Vernon Moya of San Antonio; and her numerous grandchildren to great-great-great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday, November 18, 2019, at Goetz Funeral Home. Rosary service will begin at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with Rev. David Tonary officiating. Interment will follow at Santo Tomas Cemetery.
