Margaret Shoemaker

Margaret Amelia Thoennes Shoemaker was born on November 22, 1941 in Bloomington, Illinois to Wilbur and Elsie Thoennes. She was called to her Heavenly home on September 15, 2021, at the age of 79.

Margaret is survived by her children, Michael (Melina) Shoemaker, Alisa Shoemaker, Deanna Shoemaker, Teresa (Richard) Sanchez, Pamela Shoemaker,  her grandchildren, Kymberli (Stewart), Michael Jr., Stephanie, Victoria (Josh), David (Laura), Adam (Linda), Heather, Breanna, Airesty, Lexi, Brian Jr., Thomas Jr., Joshua (Anahi), Alexander, Areya, Mercedes, Brandy, J'lynn, Zoey, Natalie, and her 17 great-grand children.

Margaret is preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, her first child, both of her parents, her grandparents, her brother and 2 sisters.

Margaret or "Margie" as most knew her, was the most positive, inspiring woman you could ever meet. She had a love for frogs and plants like no other. Despite all her medical issues, she always felt someone else had bigger problems. Margaret will be missed tremendously and never forgotten. As she Always says, it's never GOODBYE but SEE YOU LATER .

There will be no services held at this time, and the family will fulfill Margaret's wishes of cremation.
