Hogan Beaty, 77, beloved Father and Brother, was called to his eternal resting place on April 10, 2021. He was born December 1, 1943 in Luling, TX, to Homer and Veronica Beaty. He is survived by his daughter Kimberly Beaty; son Jonathan Beaty and his wife, Jennifer; brother Thomas Beaty and his wife, Dody; girlfriend Sharon Blazek; grandchildren Kyle Irvin, Krysten Irvin, Anthony Ramirez, Avery Ramirez, Aydrian Ramirez, Cole Beaty. Hogan was a fiercely proud independent petroleum landman having served admirably in that capacity for five decades. Hogan also served in the Army from 1964-1974 and was a decorated Vietnam War veteran who achieved the rank of captain. He was a most avid golfer who thoroughly enjoyed rounds of golf with his friends at Starcke Park Golf Course. He was also a noted connoisseur of good food in generous portions, old-time radio, and San Antonio Spurs basketball. He was a lifelong resident of Seguin, a community in which he held a special fondness. Most of all, he loved and cherished his family and the the time he was able to spend with them. He was preceded in death by his parents, Veronica and Homer Beaty.
Chapel Visitation will be held at Goetz Funeral Home in Seguin on Friday, April 16 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 17 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 17 at 1:00 p.m. at Goetz Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held shortly thereafter at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
