Tracy Michelle Post

Tracy was born on October 12, 1972, in Los Angeles County, California and passed from this life on May 22, 2026.

Tracy is survived by her loving wife, Cynthia Suzanne Hale and children Saylor, River and Sawyer, her adoring Aunt Barbara O'Connor and cousin Alyson Brink-Deans, many longtime friends, and caring cousins. Tracy is preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Gunn Post of New Braunfels, her father Richard M. Post of Laguna Niguel, California, her grandmother, Dorothy Neil White of Seguin, Texas, uncles John OBrien Gunn and Patrick Gunn of Seguin.

Tracy was a gifted educator having taught in the Austin Independent School District, the Seguin Independent School District and most recently at the Gonzales Independent School District. In 2017-2018 Seguin ISD named her Teacher of the Year for her commitment to students at McQueeney Elementary School.

Tracy had an enthusiasm for everything she wanted to do whether it was preparing a gourmet meal, rescuing Senior dogs and sheltering them in the kennel she built into her home for them, designing an incredible home or planning an exciting trip abroad – if Tracy wanted it done she didn't stop until it was accomplished! She was “an undeniable force to be reckoned with” in all her endeavors.

A celebration of her uncompromising spirit will be held at a Memorial slated for Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Goetz Funeral Home at 713 North Austin Street, Seguin, Texas 78155.
