Roberta Frances Jones

Roberta Frances Jones went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the age of 83. She was born on June 11, 1942, in Seguin, Texas to Robert McCulloch and Myrtle (Chessher) McCulloch.

Roberta was a 1960 graduate from Seguin High School. She worked the bulk of her professional career in sales – real estate and retail. She was a hard worker, continuing to work part-time, until her health wouldn’t permit a few weeks ago. She loved her co-workers and saw many of them as family.

Roberta had a quiet spirit about her and a generous heart. She was also very talented with handcrafts including knitting, crocheting, sewing, quilting, beading and other needlework. We will miss her dearly but are so very thankful she is no longer in pain. She is with her Lord and Savior whom she pleaded with to lift her up to heaven during her final days.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack E. Jones; her parents, Robert and Myrtle McCulloch of Seguin; and her sister, Betty Knodel of San Antonio.

Roberta is survived by her daughters: Rhonda Daily and her husband, Randy; Christine Morales; and Tanya Lane-Reid and her husband, Donavan; her sister, Mary Louise Plant and her husband, Wes; her brother, Leroy McCulloch; and her brother-in-law, Allen Knodel.

Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Tamara Clarkson and her husband, Shaun; Michael Egan and his wife, Amy; Madalyn Lane; Everett Lane; Stephen Morales; and Laura Morales. She was further blessed with numerous great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Officiating will be Pastor Henry McCulloch.
