Richard Uhr

August 28, 1931 — July 10, 2018

Richard Henry Uhr, 86, passed away on Monday, July 10th in Seguin surrounded by his beautiful family. He was born August 28, 1931 in San Antonio, Texas and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years Harriet K. Uhr, caring parents Albert Daniel Uhr and Kate Marie Davis, cherished sister Judy Selcer, and his treasured children Richard H. Uhr, Jr. and Karen D. Farge.

Survivors include his loving children Kim Anawaty (Hank), Albert Uhr (Della), Robert D. Uhr (Holly), brother Albert Thomas Uhr (Anne), and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Wade Farge, Ryan Anawaty, Jonathan Anawaty, Carter Thompson, Daniel Uhr, Robert Uhr, Jr., and Brandon Printy.

Services will be held at Goetz Chapel, 713 N. Austin, at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 14th with internment to follow at Kingsbury Cemetery.
