Patrick Chrisco passed away after a courageous fight with Alzheimers on May 27,2021. Patrick was born in Seguin Texas on October 22, 1946 to Sam Darden Chrisco and Harriet Schumann Chrisco.
Patrick is survived by his loving wife Irina Anatoli Chrisco and his brothers Michael Darden Chrisco (and wife Cherryl Gaines Chrisco) and Timothy Scott Chrisco, his Aunt Jean Wotipka and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Patricks’ father was a career Air Force Pilot so his early life was spent living in a number of different locations - 8 years in Germany, Lubbock, Texas, Wichita, Kansas and finally Austin, Texas where he spent the majority of his Junior and Senior High School years. Patrick graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1968 and then joined the United States Marine Corps and became a fighter pilot with service in Viet Nam. Upon leaving the Marine Corps in 1973 as a Captain, Patrick moved to Denver Colorado and founded a pipeline service company in the Oil & Gas business. Patrick’s time in Colorado gave him a great love of that part of the American West - particularly New Mexico and Colorado. He loved camping and RV’ing through that part of the country. After selling his business Patrick relocated to Texas and moved to Corpus Christi in 2000. Living on Padre Island Patrick developed his second great love which was sailing.
Patrick met Irina in May of 2004 in St. Petersburg, Russia and they married in October 2005. Patrick and Irina had a wonderful life together in Corpus Christi, enjoying the water and the beach, making new friends and just being with each other. In 2015 Patrick and Irina moved to Houston to be able to better enjoy the cultural benefits of a large city. They shared many happy times traveling both within the US and internationally and developed a special love for Galveston with all its history and art.
Patrick will be buried next to his parents at Riverside Cemetery in Seguin, Texas on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Services are under the direction of Goetz Funeral Home located at 713 N. Austin Street, Seguin, Texas 78155. 830-379-2313
