Pablo Barrientos, 74, beloved Spouse, Father, Brother, Father-in-law, and Friend, was called to his eternal resting place on April 27, 2026. He entered this world on January 15, 1952, in Geronimo, Texas, born to Pedro Barrientos and Margarita Perez.

He is preceded in death by Pedro and Margarita Barrientos, brother Julian Barrientos, brother Lorenzo Barrientos, brother Juan Barrientos, brother Bernado Barrientos, father-in-law Hilberto and mother-in-law Felicita Martinez.

He is survived by his spouse Diana Barrientos; son Joel Barrientos & daughter-in-law Cherie Barrientos; daughter Bethany Dietert & son-in-law Douglas Dietert Jr; son Joshua Barrientos & daughter-in-law Amber Lynn Barrientos; brother Felipe and Diana Barrientos; sister Isabel and Fernando Garcia; sister Mary Barrientos; sister Angel and Armando Chavez; brother Ernest and Carol Barrientos; brother Albert Barrientos; brother Jose Domingo Barrientos; close family friends Keith and Meagan Eldard.

Pablo found joy in life's simple, meaningful moments. He loved spending time outdoors, whether cutting grass, gardening, or planting trees, and took pride in caring for the world around him. He especially enjoyed his weekly burn pit, where he could relax and unwind. Sundays were especially important to him, as they were dedicated to family — often filled with laughter, good food, and his favorite BBQ. He had a sweet tooth and never turned down a treat, enjoyed trying his luck at the lottery, and always made time to share his "joke of the day" to bring a smile to others. A devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, he cheered them on with true passion. Above all, Pablo's faith in Jesus was at the heart of who he was and the way he lived his life.

He is survived by a large and loving circle of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and adopted grandchildren. He found his greatest happiness in the bond he shared with his family, and he deeply cherished the grandchildren who visited him and remained a loving presence in his later years.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, with details to be shared with family and friends. Pablo will be laid to rest at Fort Sam Houston. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
