Maria Flota

Maria Luz Flota of Seguin, Texas peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 8, 2019 at the age of 64. She was born to J. Jesus Cervantes and Audencia Chavez De Cervantes on June 1, 1955 in Silao, Guanajuato Mexico Maria is preceded in death by both of her parents; and her three sisters, Juana, Guadalupe and Eugenia. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Gustavo Flota; children, Gustavo Flota and girlfriend Crystal Estrada, Jesus Flota and girlfriend Rebecca Gomez, Carlos Flota and girlfriend Elisette Morales; 3 grandchildren, Adrianna, Aaron and Ava; brothers, Juan Cervantes, Bartolo Cervantes, Manuel Cervantes, Luz Cervantes and sister Consuelo Cervantes and host of family and friends.

Maria Luz was a very humble loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Five years ago, she accepted the Lord as her savior and was very open and humbled to learn about what the holy bible scripture had to teach her. She was a hardworking woman with a warm friendly soul. She loved everyone and when you met her you just wanted to know her more. She loved cooking for her family and she was also known for her simplicity in life. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 from 12:00 p.m.to 2:00 p.m. with her funeral service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. at Goetz Memorial Chapel 713 N. Austin St. In Seguin. Interment will immediately follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park 2951 Tx-46 New Braunfels, Tx. 78130
