Margaret Louise Doubrava

Margaret Louise Doubrava, 67, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Friday, June 6, 2025, in Floresville, TX, at Floresville Residence and Rehabilitation (Harmony Care of Floresville), after living with Alzheimer’s disease.

Margaret was born to Marge and Fritz Lehnhoff on March 21, 1958 in Bertram, Texas. She was a gradute of Pettus High School and later married Robert “Jr.” Doubrava on March 17, 1981. She worked for a pantry, was a Beeville ISD substitute teacher, a delivery driver for Moore City Drugstore, and was a wonderful homemaker for her family. Margaret had many hobbies in life such as gardening, sewing, crocheting and twirling in high school. She loved to cook, bake, tend to her flowers/plants, collect Peanuts merchandise and Snoopy figurines, and loved visiting friends and family. She also enjoyed helping her local fire department raise money by baking cakes for them. Margaret was a wonderful woman, daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. Full of joy and love, her smile was contagious as well as her kindness.

Margaret Doubrava is survived by her husband, Robert “Jr.” Doubrava; children, Robert James Doubrava III, and Kimberly Louise Doubrava; brothers, Mark Lehnhoff, Robert Lehnhoff, Nesto Lehnhoff, and Micky Lehnhoff; grandchildren, Sophie Doubrava Sanchez, and Analisa Sanchez.

She is preceded in death by her father, Fritz W. Lehnhoff; mother, Margarita L. Lehnhoff, and grandmother, Louise A. Grazer (Oma).

Viewing will be held at Goetz Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Continued visitaiton will be begin on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Goetz Funeral Home at 8:00 a.m. The Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Curtis Chandler will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at San Geronimo Cemetery.
