Librada Ramirez

Librada Ramirez was welcomed home by the Lord on Monday, June 8, 2026, at the age of 90. She was born on June 13, 1935, in Seguin, Texas. She lived a life centered on faith, family, and love.

Librada was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Ygnacia Davila, brothers Eusebio Davila, Jose Davila, Jr., Jesus Davila, Manuel Davila, Thomas Davila and grandson Sam Delgado.

She is survived by her children, Alice De Anda, Gloria Shields (Leroy), Ysabel Ramirez, and Ray Ramirez Jr. (Natalie); grandchildren, Shawn Shields (Veronica), Michelle Shields, Rayann Ramirez, and Alyssa Ramirez; and her great-grandchildren, Samuel Delgado, Alexis Shields, Shawn Anthony Shields, Ashley Shields, and Nicholas Ray Ramirez.

Librada was the rock of her family and the heart of her home. As a devoted stay-at-home mother, she dedicated her life to caring for her children and helping raise her grandchildren. She was a woman of deep faith who was actively involved in her church and found great comfort and purpose in her relationship with God. She enjoyed sewing, watching classic Westerns, and spending time with her cherished cat, Baby.

Though she will be greatly missed by her family and friends, her memory will remain forever in the hearts of those blessed to have known her.

Services honoring Librada will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Goetz Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Fred Perez will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at San Geronimo Cemetery. Pallbearers are Shawn Shields, Michelle Shields, Rayann Ramirez, Samuel Delgado, Shawn Anthony Shields, and Danny Ramirez.
