Lauren Elizabeth Flores, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on April 15, 1955, in the Panama Canal Zone, Lauren was a woman whose heart overflowed with love, whose smile lit up every room, and whose life was devoted to the people she cherished most—her family.
From the moment she became a mother, her greatest joy was nurturing and supporting her children, and later, her treasured grandchildren. She was the constant source of comfort, wisdom, and laughter in their lives, always ready with a listening ear, a kind word, or a gentle hug. Her caring and thoughtful nature touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—getting lost in a good romance novel, adding to her cherished collection of Precious Moments figurines, and relaxing with her favorite TV shows. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling nights, dancing, and sharing laughter with friends.
She had a remarkable gift for making friends wherever she went. Whether standing in line at the grocery store or sitting in a waiting room, she could strike up a conversation with a complete stranger and leave having made a new friend. Her warmth, kindness, and genuine interest in others left an enduring impression on everyone she met.
She is survived by her children Ryan Flores, Wife Alaina; Jason Flores; Megan Ossinger, Husband Chris; Jillian Gonzalez, Husband Everado; Grandchildren, Aurora and Sedona Flores, Ethan and Alexis Ossinger, Jason Flores Jr., Leonel, Nicolas, Isabel and Mateo Gonzalez; Brothers James C. Wollard, Wife Peggy; and Robert N. Wollard; Uncle James Lawder Jr., along with several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her Father, James O. Wollard; Mother, Mary Lou Wollard, Sister, Patrice Jones; and Aunt, Coralee Lawder.
Her life was a testament to the power of kindness, and though she is no longer physically with us, the love she gave so freely will live on in our hearts forever.
A Memorial Gathering in honor of Lauren's life will be held at Goetz Funeral Home in Seguin, Texas, on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
