Kimberly Ann Barry

Kimberly Ann Barry passed away on Friday, September 26th, 2025, at the age of 65. She was born to Barbara Jean Webster and Edward Webster on March 21st, 1960, in Aurora, Illinois.

Kim will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, aunt, daughter, cousin, and friend. She loved her family deeply. Kim was a graduate of Northern Illinois University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree with double majors in Computer Science and Finance. During her career, she worked on programming the early foundations for what is now known as Artificial Intelligence and taught for Central Texas College while living in Japan. She passionately enjoyed the beach, any body of water where she could run a boat, and relaxing in her hot tub and pool. She loved to waterski and had an affinity for horses, even at the expense of knowing they triggered her allergies. Spending time with her family and dear friends was a life-long joy. Kim will be forever missed and never forgotten.

Kim is preceded in death by her grandmother, Clara Ballinger; mother, Barbara Jean; and her beloved aunt, Jeanette Sauer.

Left to cherish and honor Kim’s memory are her loving husband of more than 33 years, Justin Barry; daughter, Brianna Barry (Connor Mason); son, Sean Barry; cherished stepfather, Charles Bluff (Louise); and her cousin who is like a sister, Pamela Tinsley-Donovsky. She is further survived by her father- and mother-in-law, Patrick and Joan Barry; her brothers-in-law, Shain, Travis, and Brennan Barry; Shain’s wife, Ashley; Kim’s niece, Rebecca Barry; as well as extended family and friends.

Services will be held on Friday, October 3rd, 2025, at Goetz Funeral Home in Seguin, Texas. Family visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. with public visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. The praying of the rosary will occur at 6:00 p.m. Kim’s cremains will remain with her husband until his passing, at which time they plan joint interment with military honors at Fort Sam Houston.
