Kathy Rocha, a beloved figure in the Seguin community, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the age of 60. She was born on January 3, 1965, to Isidro Rocha Sr. and Estella (Garcia) Rocha.
Known around Seguin for her big yellow corn truck, Kathy brought many delicious snacks and joy to countless individuals by serving delicious roasted corn. Kathy took immense pride in being the biggest Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns fan, and she made the best BBQ on game days. Kathy also enjoyed spending her days cruising with her life partner Dale, jamming to her favorite tunes.
Kathy now joins her father, Isidro Rocha Sr, brother, Joey Rocha and uncle, Jose Rocha in eternal rest. She is survived by her devoted spouse, Dale Price; mother, Estella Rocha; son, Easy Rocha (Savannah); grandsons, Isidro Jr. and Isaac; brother, Isidro Rocha Jr.; sisters, Susie Ibarra (Juan), Blanche Morales (Alonzo), and Margo Rocha. She is further survived by her nieces and nephews, Stephanie Juarez (Jason), Leah Morales, Estella Ibarra (Michael), Blanca Morales, Jennifer Ibarra; great nieces and nephews, Albert Perez III, Serena Moreno (Luis), Michael "Romo" Sanchez, Sara Adela Sanchez, Emilea Kennedy Morales and bonus grandson Samuel Austin O'Connell.
She cherished her only son, Easy Rocha. He filled her with so much joy and laughter and loved watching him be a father to his boys.
Kathy held a special place in her heart for her grandsons, E.R. and Isaac. They were her greatest blessings in life. She was their biggest cheerleader, attending nearly every one of their games and fostering their love for sports. With promises of rewards for touchdowns and home runs, she not only inspired them to excel but also created a unique bond filled with memories they will cherish forever. In her passing, she now holds the best seat in the house for all their future games, eternally supporting them from above.
Kathy will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of sharing their lives with her including her pets - Pepper, Brownie, Boots and Baby Girl. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of many. See you later in a bit.
A Memorial Visitation in Kathy's honor will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Goetz Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 10:30 a.m.
