In Loving Memory of Julius Adams Jr.
Julius Adams Jr., 77, of San Antonio, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026. Born on July 3, 1948, in San Antonio, Texas, Julius was raised in the city he proudly called home throughout his life.
Julius was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He shared 33 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Leslie Adams. Together they built a life centered on love, faith, and family.
He is survived by his two daughters, Stacy Brown and Kimberly Roldan; his sons-in-law, Eric Brown and Jack Quinn; five grandchildren, Michael Hudson, Yvonne Hudson, Alyssa Deckard, Crystal Deckard, and Aaron Warren; and six great-grandchildren, A’yanna Bremby, Dorianna Aponte, Kaidence Hudson, Macy Hudson, and Aaron Warren II. His legacy of love and strength will continue through each of them.
Julius proudly served his country for 16 years, dedicating eight years to the United States Army and eight years to the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he continued serving others through his work at the Audie L. Murphy Memorial VA Hospital, where he worked for 25 years in phlebotomy and laboratory services. His compassion and commitment to caring for veterans reflected his lifelong dedication to helping others.
Julius truly enjoyed life and cherished time with his family. He had a gift for making friends wherever he went and was known for his warm spirit and protective nature. He was always watching out for those he loved, offering guidance, laughter, and unwavering support.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his kindness, service, and the love he gave so freely.
Services will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Monday, March 16th, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are allowed to arrive and gather 10 minutes prior to the service.
