Joseph Sepulvida

December 23, 1978 — February 9, 2017

Joseph Nathaniel Sepulveda was called home to be with our Lord on February 9, 2017 at the age of 38. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Joe and Angela Campbell Sepulveda; maternal grandparents, Ignacio and Aurelia Rodriguez; uncle, Efren Rodriguez. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Sandra D, Sepulveda; children, Aiden R. Sepulveda, Corbin N. Sepulveda and Madeleine J. Sepulveda; parents, Arthur and Maria Sepulveda; brothers, Rene and his wife Elizabeth Sepulveda, Christopher Sepulveda; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Joseph reflected God's love through his life. He was a devout Christian with a compassionate and gentle spirit. His unique sense of humor brought joy to all who knew him. He loved music. His pride and joy in life was his wonderful wife Sandra and their three beautiful children. Joseph had a loving heart and was an exemplary model of a very good man, a loving son, brother and an awesome husband, father and family member. He chose to be an organ donor which demonstrated that as in life, he continued to help others by donating organs to give the gift of life. This is so characteristic of him and his willingness to give of himself to others. Joseph was a proud American who believed in the U.S. Constitution and traditional American values. He was a loyal Texan by birth whose great-great- grandfather was a contemporary and friend of Sam Houston and Anson Jones (the last President of the Republic of Texas). His great- great- grandfather, John Campbell, one of the first Irish pioneers in Guadalupe County, personally helped to construct the capitol buildings at Washington on the Brazos (the capitol of the Republic of Texas) and also the original capitol buildings in Austin, Texas.
Joseph will forever live in the hearts and minds of those who loved him.
