John Bruce Duncan

John B. Duncan, a Master Electrician and devoted man of faith, passed away peacefully in Seguin, Texas, on February 6, 2026, at the age of 79.

Born on January 17, 1947, John was a graduate of the Navarro High School Class of 1965. His professional journey began early at 16 years old when he entered the electrical trade. Through his hard work and an eye for detail, he earned the respected title of Master Electrician.

John possessed an amazing gift for connection. He had an effortless way of striking up a conversation with anyone, anywhere. He could work a room with a natural warmth that made people feel heard and understood, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.

On October 25, 1999, John married Susan Duncan in a beautiful small ceremony in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with their two friends, Connie and Steve Stevenson. Susan remained the center of his life for over 26 years. Together they built a life focused on their amazing family.

John served faithfully as a deacon at McQueeney Baptist Church. His relationship with God was strong. He was passionate about apologetics and spent much of his time reading his Bible. In his retirement years, John found great joy creating handmade Christian jewelry with his best friend, Gilbert Turley.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John P. Duncan and Mary Louise Aiken.

His memory will be cherished by his beloved wife, Susan Duncan; his sister, Terry Lynn Moy; and his eight children, Shane, Levi, Jennie, Misty, Delana, Dale, Jeremy, and Jonny. He also leaves behind a legacy of numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren, each of whom he loved dearly.

John will be remembered as a man of quiet strength, steady hands, and a warm heart. He spent his life fixing what was broken and building what would last.
