Jennifer Karen Ellison

Jennifer Karen Ellison, born on February 24, 1950, in Gonzales, Texas, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 17, 2025, in Seguin, Texas.

Jennifer leaves behind a legacy as a devoted educator, having taught many students during her remarkable 40-year career at the Gary Job Corps Center. Throughout her life, Jennifer’s vibrant personality shone through in her many interests. A passionate animal lover, she found great joy in the companionship of her beloved cats and dogs. She also loved bowling and enthusiastically participated in numerous bowling leagues and tournaments, where she made many memories.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Ellison, as well as by her parents, Glenn and Lucille Nethery; her sister, Cecilia Hollaway; and her brothers, Glenn Nethery Jr., Doyle Nethery, and Clinton Nethery. Jennifer is survived by many great friends who loved her dearly.

A Memorial service honoring Jennifer will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Goetz Funeral Home, Seguin, Texas. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and the service will follow at 2:00 p.m., offering an opportunity for all who knew Jennifer to come together in celebration of her life and impact.
