It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ivan (Mike) Reagan, a beloved father, uncle, friend, and mentor, who departed this life on September 3, 2025. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ivan and Justina Reagan and wife, Cordelia Reagan.
Mike was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, to Ivan and Justina Reagan in 1943. He served his country honorably as a mechanic in the U.S. Army and went on to marry the love of his life, Cordelia Reagan. They had two children whom he loved dearly. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with family, and cooking.
Throughout his life, Mike took on many roles—each with pride and purpose. From working across various industries to owning a restaurant in New Braunfels, he brought dedication and a sense of humor to every endeavor. But it was in the meat industry, where he spent over 35 years, that he truly found his second family. Colleagues became lifelong friends, and friends became family.
Mike is survived by his sister, Patsy Moczygemba; his daughter, Sally Walsh, and her son Jacob Walsh; his son, Clancy Reagan, and Clancy’s children Ezra Reagan and Cordelia Cyr (husband Bradley Cyr); his niece, Bunny Mercier (husband Robert Mercier), and their children Melany Lynch (husband James Lynch) and Jeremy Mercier (wife Laurel Boshoff); and his nephew, Joseph Moczygemba (wife Lori Moczygemba), and their children Reagan Moczygemba (wife Brittany), Derek Moczygemba (wife Brooke), and Carly Martin (husband Dustin Martin).
He will be remembered for his generous spirit, unwavering loyalty, and the way he made everyone feel like they belonged. His legacy lives on in the laughter of friends, the meals prepared with love, and the countless lives he touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Magnolia Halle, 10319 Huebner Rd, San Antonio, TX 78240.
