Guadalupe Soto

Guadalupe Soto, Sr., of Seguin, joined our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at the age of 72. He was born in Marion, Texas on December 27, 1945 to the late Juan and Paula Soto.

He was a humble man, a man of few words, but often spoke with meaning and care. He was a faithful parish member of, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Always the loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, he will be missed dearly by those that knew and loved him.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 50 years: Belia Soto, children: Jose Guadalupe Soto and wife Loretta Garcia, Robert Soto, Gilbert Soto and wife Priscilla, Esther Rosas and husband Solomon, and Sylvia Vega and husband Armando; 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, siblings: Mario, Frank (Pancho), Ruben Soto, Consuelo Herrera and Oralia Moreno.

Visitation will be held at Goetz Funeral Home on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the Holy Rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., with the Rites of a Christian Burial to follow at the San Geronimo Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: grandchildren, Ashely Soto, Macayla Sanchez, Joe Soto III, Robert Soto Jr., Marcos Vega and Noah Soto.
