David Edward Byrne

David Edward Byrne was born April 13, 1946, in Owasso, Michigan and raised on a farm near Chesaning, Michigan. He is a 1969 graduate of General Motors Institute with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He developed a love of flying at a very young age and joined the United States Air Force in 1970. While in the Air Force he held positions as aircraft commander, aircraft evaluator and Head of Standardization. He served 22 years and rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. After retiring he worked for the County of San Bernardino in the Flood and Transportation Department and later Building and Finance Department before moving to Seguin, TX.
 
Dave is preceded in death by his parents Edward A. and Louise (Keeler) Byrne. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Byrne; Brothers and Sister: Fr. Robert Byrne, Letitia Byrne, Dennis (April) Byrne and Michael Byrne; Nieces and nephews: Virginia Byrne, Alexander Byrne, Sarah Byrne and Benjamin Byrne.
 
David joined the Lord with our Blessings on Sunday, May 26, 2024. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
