Dan Heard

Dan J. Heard, age 90, died at his home on Lake McQueeney January 7, 2020 while surrounded by his family. Dan was born on the farm in rural Lamb County north of Littlefield in the Texas Panhandle on June 5, 1929.

He is preceded in death by a son, Leslie Edward Heard.

He is survived by his wife of seventy years, the former Oma Dee McCormick. He is also survived by his daughter Pam White and husband Walter, son Danny Heard and wife Jill, nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Goetz Funeral Home in Seguin. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at McQueeney Baptist Church with interment to follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
