Charles Robert Koehne, affectionately known as Charlie, was born on January 14, 1935, in Pittsburgh. He passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025, in Seguin, leaving behind a legacy of love, bravery, and unwavering devotion to family.

Charlie served his country honorably as a Medic in the Army, embodying the spirit of service and dedication throughout his life. This commitment was not only evident in his military endeavors but also in the way he approached his hobbies. An avid hunter and fisherman, he found joy and solace in the great outdoors, spending countless hours in nature that reflected his deep appreciation for life.

He is remembered fondly by his children: Charles Wayne Koehne, Barton Scott Koehne, Barry Dean Koehne, Marcia Lynn Herndon Koehne, and Gwendolyn Jean McAllister Koehne. His legacy continues to thrive through his 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, who carry forward his values and the memories shared with him.

Charlie was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mrs. Charlotte Leoda Swope Koehne, and his son, Mark Anthony Koehne. They remain forever in the hearts of those who knew them.

Funeral Services with Military Honors rendered by Jamestown Honor Guard will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, June 3, 2025 in the Chapel of Park Lawn Cemetery in Jamestown, PA.
