Bethany Sue Delgado, 28, entered the presence of her Lord on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
Born on October 10, 1996, in Riverside, California, to Kristie Hall and Erik Delgado. Bethany was a beloved daughter and granddaughter who shared a special bond with her papa, Thomas Wood, and her grandma, Susan Wood. As the eldest of five siblings—Sarah, Noah, McKenna, Bella, and Dallas—she embraced her role with devotion, offering love, wisdom, and steady guidance. She is also survived by her uncles, aunts, cousins, her boyfriend Anthony, and countless lifelong friends who cherished her deeply.
Bethany graduated from Arlington High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Forensic Psychology from California Baptist University, where she later completed her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology. During her training at the CBU Counseling Center, she met Anthony, the love of her life, and was going to marry him. Their relationship blossomed with joy and laughter as they grew in faith together. With Anthony’s family, they attended Compass Bible Church in Long Beach, where Bethany’s love for Christ continued to deepen as she became a part of the church family.
A devoted follower of Jesus, Bethany’s faith was the foundation of her life and her calling. As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, she dedicated herself to walking with clients through their darkest seasons, steadfastly carrying hope for their healing and restoration.
Beyond her professional and spiritual pursuits, Bethany nurtured a creative and adventurous spirit. She found joy in reading, writing, and drawing, weaving her artistry into her therapeutic work. Rock climbing exemplified her courage and perseverance—an outward expression of the resilience she encouraged in others.
Bethany has lived a full life, faithfully and with grace.
