Barbara Walker

October 24, 1923 — July 29, 2018

Barbara Swink Walker, age 94, passed away on July 29, 2018. Barbara was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma on October 24, 1923 to George Wilbur Swink and Ella Ann Landsen. She attended West Tennessee Business College in Jackson, Tennessee and retired from NBC Bank in Seguin after 33 years of service.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband James M. Walker, her sister, and 2 brothers.

Funeral services will be held at First United Methodist Church in Seguin, on Saturday, August 4th at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Goetz Funeral Home in Seguin.

Survivors include son Curtis Kenneth Walker and wife Lynn of College Station; son Lawrence Wayde Walker and wife Janet of Round Rock; Grandson Eric Walker and wife Aundria, granddaughter Jennifer Drew and husband Brian, granddaughter Denise Tsamouris and husband Ryan; granddaughter Macie Walker and fiancé Drake Trotter, 7 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

Pallbearers are Bill Shaw, Paul McClure, Perry Brooks, Dale Brooks, Glenn Prochnow, Hamis King, Doug Nelson, Alan Thompson, Shane Smith, and Mike Lambert.

The family would like to express their appreciation and thanks to Texas Home Health Hospice and Falcon Ridge Rehab of Hutto, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church or Texas Home Health Hospice.
