Armando Saldana

Armando (Mando) Saldaña has transcended onto a new life on Sunday, February 18th, 2018 at the age of 59. After a long battle with ALS, he has overcome the corporal circumstances with a peaceful passing. He was born December 4, 1958 to Juan Rubén Guadalupe Saldaña Saldivar and M� de Jes&uacutes García Arellano in Chicago, IL.

He worked as a Quality Engineer for various Plastic Injection Molding firms.

Known for his love of music, he played in many bands of diverse genres for 40+ years. One of his favorite pass times, was camping and fishing with family.

Armando is survived by his beloved wife M� Guadalupe Jiménez Torres of 36 years; his daughter Eunice Saldana and son in law Felipe Gutierrez; his daughter Jessica Saldana, son in law Joaquin Chavez and grandchildren, Karime and Armando Chavez.

Family, friends and all whose lives Mando touched, are invited to the viewing at Goetz Funeral Home Chapel, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2018. And a Life Celebration service will be held the following day, at the Goetz Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. The Burial will follow at the Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.

Mando's wish is for all who attend his services to preferably wear White attire.
