Anthony Cuellar

Anthony David Cuellar of New Braunfels, Texas passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at the age of 63. He was born on April 6, 1959 to Antonio S. Cuellar and Maria Del Carmen Rivera in Oceanside, California.

Anthony, also known as David, was a huge character. His personality and humor shined bright, and he never met a stranger. His absurd stories and presence drew you in and everyone enjoyed hanging out with him. David always rooted for the underdog and was dedicated to social justice. He also proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Above all, David was a family man. He loved and cared deeply for his family and friends. He was the king of cringey dad jokes and was always there to listen to girl problems.

David is survived by his wife, Honey Brown-Cuellar; children, Eva, Joshua, Aidan, and Jacob; grandchildren, Esteban, Sophia, and Gabriel; his parents, Tony and Carmen Cuellar; brothers and sisters, Steve, Linda, Judy, and Chuck. He is further survived by numerous extended family members and friends.

David’s family will fulfill his wishes of cremation with no services held. Time will pass and things will change but his memory will remain in our hearts forever.
