Angel Zamora

Angel Zamora, age 70, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2023. He was born on October 1, 1953 to Ramon Zamora and Angelita Sanchez. Angel was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Angel was a hardworking man who took great pride in providing for his family. He had a strong work ethic that he instilled in his children and grandchildren. Those who knew him best remember him as someone who was always dedicated to his loved ones. A man of simple pleasures, Angel loved washing his car and collecting his money. He found joy in the little things and cherished moments spent with family and friends. His playful nature shone through as he loved to tease his grandkids and bring smiles to their faces.

Angel is preceded in death by his brother Joe Zamora, mother Angelita Sanchez, and father Ramon Zamora. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Ortencia U. Zamora; children, Michael Zamora, Anna Valadez (Ricky), Daniel Zamora, and Miguel Zamora. His memory will be forever cherished by his grandchildren: Angel Miguel Freedom Zamora, Ashley Taguinod (Michael), Destiney N. Ramirez, Ricardo Valadez (Ashley), Jessica R. Valadez, Jade Linzie Zamora, and Xavier Daniel Zamora (Meranda). He is further survived by his siblings, Raymond Zamora (Margie), Castilena Benavides (Ralph), Margarita Martinez, Mary Cavazos (Manuel), Roland Zamora (Angela), and numerous great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  

During this time of grief and loss, let us remember Angel for the love he gave to everyone around him. May his memory bring comfort and light to those who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Goetz Funeral Home with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Services will continue on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Goetz Funeral Home with continued visitation at 10:30 a.m. and a Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
